Refrigeration and low temperature cells

‘Refrigeration and low temperature cells

Refrigeration and low temperature cells from FORNAX TECHNOLOGIES, the so-called walk-in sample stores, are the efficient, alternative solutions to traditional ultra-low temperature chest freezers and freezer farms for biobanks. Walk-in sample stores from FORNAX TECHNOLOGIES are therefore ideal for long-term professional storage of samples of blood, serum, plasma, urine, stem cells, tissue, liquids etc.

Efficiency and security
The high efficiency is primarily seen in the permanently low operating costs while securely preserving the samples for more than 10, 20 and 30 years. Security is provided by redundant cooling combined with optional emergency cooling (based on CO2 or LN2), which is automatically activated in the event of complete power failure. Uninterrupted long-term cooling is therefore guaranteed for many years.

Performance range and features

FORNAX TECHNOLOGIES plans and supplies refrigeration and low temperature cells in all sizes for the temperature range +4°C to -110°C. An airlock chamber is therefore also integrated from a planned storage temperature of -80°C or -110°C.

Regardless of whether your building already exists or you are planning a new building. Talk to us and we will work together to find the right solution for your needs.

An experienced team of consultants, engineers, technicians and installers supports you from your enquiry through to the final installation. CAD-supported work areas in the construction enable us to build your solution quickly. It goes without saying that quality and precision are guaranteed.

Features

Insulation thickness: 160 mm or 200 mm
Cold bridge-free tongue and groove with hook closures, for simple assembly/disassembly
k-value up to 0.16 W/m2K
Surfaces: CNS or plastic-coated welded sheet steel bottoms, walls and ceilings

FORNAX TECHNOLOGIES walk-in sample stores are walk-in, temperature-controlled refrigeration and low temperature cells and are used as storage systems for biological samples, reagents etc.
